So as of today, there are only 50 days left until I am completely finished with interns. Then it is off to South Africa, and then SPU! But anyways, I’m supposed to be focusing on the now.

I’ve recently decided to challenge myself a bit over the last 50 days of interns. I’m challenging myself in several different areas. Over the next 50 days I’ll be doing a little bit of fasting and spending some more time in prayer. I’ll be shutting off the TV, except for the occasional movie night with my family. And I’ll be taking things up a notch when it comes to my photography. That’s the thing I really decided to focus on during the next 50 days. My goal is to do at least 25 shoots during the 50 day period. YIKES! Yeah, I know, that should be like impossible, and there is a very good chance it is impossible, but I’m going for it anyways.

Over the next 50 days, I’ll be pulling different friends and families I know to help me build my portfolio. I already have a bunch of people lined up! Not to mention that my first shoot of the 25 is happening today. I’ll be sure to post a few of the images up on the blog later tonight.

There is a very good chance that I’ve just set myself up for a crazy next two months. I probably won’t be getting much sleep so I can keep up with processing images. But honestly, I think this is going to be great! The whole point is to grow my portfolio, build up my creativity, and catch a vision for my photography for the next few years. And I’d assume that after 25 or so shoots I can only get better, right?

But I want to have the remaining 10 finished before I leave for South Africa. That's a little more possible right?...And I'll still be challenging myself with a few other things during the 50 days.]
