mandie.

 The basics ::

  • My name is Mandie.
  • I’m 18.
  • The beautiful Pacific Northwest is currently the place I call home.
  • I have two sisters and one brother. I love them all to pieces.
  • I study at Seattle Pacific University and am working towards earning a degree in Journalism and a degree in Global Development.
  • I’m a photographer. I just opened my own business: Sindisiwe Photography.
  • I’m a musician. I play piano, attempt to play guitar, and sometimes sing.
  • I’m a writer. I want to be a freelance journalist (or photojournalist). Basically, someday I want a job that pays me to travel, write, and take pictures.

 I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures. So I travel whenever the opportunity presents itself. I thrive off of new adventures, new experiences. But it’s more than just traveling for the sake of traveling. There is purpose behind it. One crazy encounter with God has forever ruined my heart for the nations. No matter which way I turn, I can’t get past the urge to go. I can’t get past the desire to head out into the world.

I’ve reached the realization that I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. He paid the ultimate price for my life. He redeemed me. And for that I am forever thankful.

and…that’s all for now.

    Been reading through some of your posts… right down to your lil bro taking pics. Then I thought: “Who is she, anyway?” and I found this marvelous page.
